Has an Economics and Business degree from the Università Cattolica of Milan. He was Chief Financial Officer of the Olivetti and ENI Groups, and Managing Director of Agricola Finanziaria, BNL Gestioni SGR and BNL Investimenti SIM. He is Member of the Advisory Council of the National Association of Accounting and Financial Managers. He is registered in the Roll of Official Auditors ( Revisori Contabili ) and he is auditor of Fitch Italia SpA.

Is Professor of International Business Economics at Bergamo University. He is Vice Chairman of Quadrivio SGR (Milan). He is Director of Banca del Sempione (Lugano) and La Libertà of Piacenza. He is a member of the Management Board of ARCA and the International Advisory Board of the University of Alabama. He is the author of Lettera Finanziaria and numerous other essays and publications. He has been, among other things, a member of General Management of Banca della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano) and Visiting Professor at the International Monetary Fund in Washington.

Has an Economics and Business degree, as well as a Law degree, from the Università degli Studi of Rome. He had managerial assignments at Banco di Napoli, IMI and EFIM. He was Manager of BNL Gestioni SGR's Research Department. He is registered in the Roll of Accountants (Dottori Commercialisti) and in the Roll of Official Auditors (Revisori Contabili). He is the author, along with Mr Gabbrielli, of four widely read books on finance, published by the leading Italian economic editor Il Sole 24 Ore

Has been CFO of Magneti Marelli (Fiat Group), General Manager and Member of the Board of Compagnia Mobiliare di Milano, General Manager of BPM Investimenti (Merchant Bank of Banca Popolare di Milano Group). Later has been Member of the Board of Milla Sim (stock-broker) and has also been in charge for Banca Leonardo of the Investment Banking sector. Member of AIAF (Financial Analysts), he is in the panel of specialized consultants of Milan Tribunal.
He is graduated in Economics and Trade at Milan Bocconi University.

Has held managerial positions both in ENI Group and AVIOFER BREDA Group. Has been CFO of several companies operating in Italy and internationally in the field of  infrastructure’s construction as main contractors or nominated subcontractors and in the field of rolling stock and mass transit equipment manufacturing. He has also been in charge of activities of Foreign Investment Attraction into Italy for a company owned by Ministry of Treasury. Has been Member of the Board of Snamprogetti, Savio, Prima Electronics, Sapri, Breda Inc Usa, Nile Aster Egypt and Statutary Auditor of Metroroma. Is Vice President of the association Primato Milano. Is also President of the Italian Linacre College Society (Oxford University) where he has been reading for a PhD in economics after his graduation in Italy.
